At Art of Accounting, I know running a business or non-profit isn't easy. Whether you're trying to keep your books in order, lead your team with confidence, or simply figure out your next steps, the weight of responsibility can sometimes feel overwhelming. That's where I come in.
Brian has a gift for helping people see past the roadblocks holding them back.
Brian started his career at PWC in Boston, MA, one of the largest CPA firms in the world, where he rose to the level of Manager, overseeing complex audits and consulting engagements.
He was then CFO and co-owner of a precision, engineered products manufacturing company. Brian helped grow that company's revenues 5X and successfully sold that company.
Brian then became a partner, owner and CFO of a private equity firm in Cambridge, MA that invested in technology companies. The landscape for investing in private technology companies changed in 2002 by the Federal Sarbanes-Oxley Act, so Brian co-founded his own precision products manufacturing company. Brian helped grow that company from a single location into a group of global companies, with operations and employees in North America, Europe and Asia. Due to excessive international travel required by managing global companies, Brian sold all his interests in those companies in 2016.
Brian then started his own consulting company providing services to companies involved in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Since Brian's clients were all in the Northeast, Brian desired to only work locally so in 2025 he started Art of Accounting.
In addition to managing for profit businesses, Brian served on the board of directors of several non-profit organizations. Brian also led the efforts to raise over $25 million for two historic, New England churches.

After years of successfully helping growing organizations all over the globe, I realized its time now to work locally. I double majored in accounting and entrepreneurship for my undergraduate college degree and obtained a MBA business graduate degree and 75% of a master of technology innovation degree.
I started and ran a business while in my second year of college, ran it while in college and then sold the business after I graduated. I've had a passion my entire life to help grow and manage businesses.
I created Art of Accounting for small to medium size businesses and non-profit organizations that want to grow stronger, healthier, and be more successful in everything they do.
